We’re a dad and daughter team with a lot of ambition to make cool stuff. Our entire lives together have been spent coming up with ideas for new projects, and we made some happen, but we often found that ambition get the best of us. It took a lot of trial and error (and a little growing up), but we’ve got it down now.

Dad: Raised in Northeast Iowa, Dave Barnhart has enjoyed a successful career in self-employed computer services for over two decades in the Cedar Rapids, IA area. He’s a hobbyist woodworker, has a knack for electronics, and can just “figure it out,” ya know? He spends his free time with his family and two dogs, going for walks, and playing video games.

Daughter: Raised by Dave, Sammie Barnhart grew up in Cedar Rapids with a passion for all things creative. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Northern Iowa in 2020 and spent the next two years in the public art, conservation, and signage industries until co-founding SUITE7 in 2022. She spends her free time with her partner and cat, playing video games, and running a Pathfinder 2e game twice a week.
